I met my husband at the age of 17 (yes, high school sweet hearts). We went to rival high schools and we were introduced by two friends that were dating. We were introduced to each other in a McDonald's parking lot. It was a classy scene, but I still remember seeing him step out of his white Caviler. After spending a few hours getting to know one another, he asked me out on our first date. We went to P.F. Chang's the next day and began our relationship. Although, we started "dating" in September of 2000, Dave made it clear he didn't want a serious relationship and things sizzled out by November and we drifted our own ways. As fate took its course, we ended up on the same Spring Break cruise out of Miami and we reconnected. We then decided to make a commitment to each other and the rest is history. Dave went to college in Florida and I went to college in Arizona. We made the long distance relationship work across many time zones and miles. After I finished college, I moved to Florida in May 2005 to live with Dave. We got engaged in December 2008 and finally after many years, we got married in Mexico in 2010. Through the years we have learned about how to grow together and we have only become stronger as a couple. Dave is my beloved!
