Teaching

Ever since I was in 1st grade, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I love working with kids and I love teaching kids how to read. When I moved to Florida I got a job teaching kindergarten. I taught kindergarten for four years and then moved to a new school where I have been teaching Junior Kindergarten for two years. Teaching is something that has always been natural for me to do. I walk into a classroom of little kiddos and I feel like it is right where I belong. The things they say make me laugh everyday and there is never a dull moment in the classroom. Everyday is a new experience and an adventure. I wish I could write down every silly thing that comes out of their mouth, but then again I would literally have to walk around with a notepad every second of everyday. Their hugs and loving words are nothing you can explain. Teaching is not just a
job/career it is a something that comes from the heart and I don't believe it can be taught, I truly believe it is something you have or don't have. Teaching is a commitment and a lot of work, but if you can stick it out is very rewarding!
